The ladies of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Incorporated, Delta Zeta Chapter led an initiative for Sickle Cell Awareness in 2021.
The focus for this particular event was to support Mia Washington, grand-daughter of Carol Reed. The sisterhood gathered in support of the cause, wearing shirts and parading for all initiatives.

The ladies of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Incorporated, Delta Zeta Chapter had a great year, and are off to a great start in 2023.
The students at Ruskin Elementary School are getting ready for fall by listening to a story read by Delta Zeta Chapter members, Sonja Rolling and Donna Solomon, principal.
Reading about pumpkins and celebrating Red Ribbon Week were the two focus themes for October 2022. The members are excited to continue serving the students and staff at Ruskin Elementary School this year.

AFRICAN -AMERICAN HISTORY


The ladies of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Incorporated, Delta Zeta chapter celebrated another successful annual Dr. Mamie L. Kennedy Black History Program.
The program was held virtually with music, poems, and oral renditions depicting African-American heritage. The theme for this year's program, "It Starts with Me".
Rev. Tawanna Harris, pastor of Austin Chapel AME was the guest speaker for the occasion. She delivered a powerful message to the attendees. The highlight of the program was the oratorical speakers representing elementary, middle, and high schools. Each speaker delivered a powerful and informational speech.
